Cryptic Studios’ Systems Designer Jared “NoWorries” Sears has provided a dev blog on the upcoming Loadouts feature, coming with the next game expansion to Neverwinter, Shroud of Souls.
Loadouts can be changed anytime a player is at a campfire (portable altars do not count), or in any safe zone (read: major city). Upon reaching level 30, every character will receive an extra loadout, giving them 2 in total and additional Loadouts can be purchased in the Zen Market (up to 8). The team has also provided a dev video, so lets watch shall we…
The video briefly highlights the aspects of the feature and then shows the UI involved in making the swap between a PvE and a PvP build – each build defining a set of Equipment/Artifact Slots, Powers, Feats, Boons, Ability Scores, Power Tray and Potion Slots.
