Final Fantasy XIV is set to grow the world of Eorzea with the latest patch 4.4, entitled Prelude in Violet. This patch will continue the main quest line, include the final chapter in the Omega raid series – set to launch on September 18th.
During the recent 5th anniversary celebratory livestream, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida provided new details on this next major content update. Viewers were treated to a first look at one of the bosses from the Omega: Alphascape raid—Chaos. In addition to the raid content, players will also experience the next chapter in the Four Lords quest series, featuring Suzaku.

We can also look forward to a series of FFXIV Online Fan Festivals all over the world. North America will be first on November 16-17, 2018 in Las Vegas, followed by the European Fan Festival on February 2-3, 2019 in Paris and ending with the Tokyo Fan Festival on March 23-24, 2019 (with free livestreaming for those not attending at https://twitch.tv/finalfantasyxiv )
