First announced back in 2017, Portkey Games has broken the silence of their development with some scant details of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite with a new website that gives details on the lore behind the upcoming mobile MMO.

The Ministry is looking for witches and wizards willing to roll up their sleeves and volunteer to save the wizarding world from the Calamity. As a member of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force (a new task force formed in partnership between the Ministry of Magic and the International Confederation of Wizards) you will hone lightning fast wand reflexes, an ability to sniff out the faintest whiff of magical disorder from afar, and proficiency in advanced casting of multiple spells.

The site also came with an official teaser trailer for the title, which is expected to be an Augmented Reality style MMO game in the same vein as Pokemon GO (as it is a joint development between newly established Portkey Games and Niantic Labs). Lets watch, shall we…

The game is scheduled to launch next year, in 2019, though no further details are available at this time.
